My goodness… how do we convince anyone of this at all? I guess because it’s still more encouraging (if less logical) than:
Atheism
You, your life, and the universe are meaningless and doomed to a pointless, permanent death.

My goodness… how do we convince anyone of this at all? I guess because it’s still more encouraging (if less logical) than:

That’s an interesting way of putting it. Its true, what value do we have as human beings if there is no real purpose?
If we look at the arts, the beauty of creation, the cute, innocent face of a baby… these are things that yell out: There is a master craftsman and creator of all things good!
I like the way Ravi Zacharias puts it: Life is like a boat on the sea… three questions are asked:
1. How did it get there? (question of origin)
2. How do we prevent it from crashing into other ships? (question of social responsibility)
3. Where is it going? (Question of destiny)
I guess for the atheist, it’s just a boat that goes nowhere. It just sits there.
