Christianity is a world religion just like Hinduism, and Islam, and Buddhism, and it’s more dangerous than those because it’s more subtle, and it’s so close to the truth that it leads people in a lie.

Hi, I recently found your blog through couchsurfers.com and am inspired by your apparent passionate search for religious truth. I am wondering if you have ever looked into Roman Catholicism. I am a practicing Catholic and am deeply convicted and often mezmerized by the profound truth, beauty and richness of the Catholic Church. After looking through your blog, I think that you would be a really great Catholic
! Please let me know if you have any questions or would like ot talk about this.

Thanks for the encouragement, but Catholicism is even more unattractive to me than Protestantism. I don’t think I will ever be religious again.

i can’t say i agree with that quote. i would like to know more of the context he was speaking in, and the ‘lie’ it supposedly leads people in.
too many people take quotes out of context and criticise without knowing the whole story.
on a side note (i read your response the the comment left), i guess you could call me a protestant, but i would never describe myself as religious. religion is tradition and obligation, having little to do with the love that should compel one as a christian.
on that note, i enjoy your blog
